Promos for E!’s new series #RichKids of Beverly Hills co-opt the hashtag — an indication that the network is (finger quotes in air) down with the young folks — to lure us to the new reality TV series about a social circle of wealthy 20-somethings.
[jump]To further promote the Sun., Jan. 19, premiere at 10 p.m., the network is inviting fans in major cities throughout the U.S. to join in the “Finders Keepers” scavenger hunt. E! is planting prizes in random spots in each city. Tomorrow they're in Tampa. Check Instagram @RichKidsOfBH for visual clues to the locations of the five items.
Photos of landmarks, street signs and iconic markers and other clues will hint at the whereabouts of the hidden luxury items. When you find one of the items, take a selfie with it, use the hashtag above and post to Instagram. For a chance to win $10,000, take a selfie holding a #RichKids sign, post to Instagram with the #RichKids hashtag between Jan. 1 and Jan. 20, and you will be automatically entered into a national sweepstakes to win.
