Jim Messina, President Obama's campaign manager in 2012, is joining Charlie Crist’s gubernatorial campaign as a senior strategic adviser.
This is potentially a big boost in the arm for the former and possibly future Florida governor's campaign chances in knocking off incumbent Rick Scott. According to Politico, Messina will not be involved in the day-to-day aspects of the campaign.
