Taking his camera to parks along the Hillsborough River, Lazlo Horváth documents a personal, minimalist study with monochrome videos and digital stills in his show show László Horváth: The Water’s Edge. Also a musician, he has recorded a live soundtrack for the multimedia show.

Horváth calls his solo show an intuitive interpretation of over a year’s adventures and observations kayaking and hiking along the Hillsborough River. The installation will run Feb. 6-28. An opening reception will take place today, 4:30-7:30 p.m. with a gallery talk at 6:15 p.m. The gallery is in the Performing Arts Building at Palm Avenue and 15th Street, Tampa. hcc-fl.edu
