As was noted by many observers of Monday night's first debate of the CD13 special election campaign, David Jolly may have been the smoothest candidate on the stage at St.Pete College's Seminole campus, but his stances on a number of issues are strongly conservative.
Whether they are too conservative for the district won't be known until March 11, but Team Sink has been working since that time to splice together a veritable greatest hits of Jolly's conservative stances from the debate. They've learned that hammering him for being a lobbyist can only go so far, but highlighting that he's regretful the U.S. didn't attack Syria last summer for violating President Obama's "redline" on using chemical weapons could pay dividends. Today the Sink campaign released an ad called, "Out of Step."
