Whether there's truly a GOP "war on women," is certainly debatable, depending on your political persuasion. What isn't debatable is that the Democrats think it's good politics.
First the D.C.-based group Emily's List sent out a message to its members today in the CD13 race between Alex Sink and David Jolly with the headline, "Not just scary; terryifing," referring to Jolly's stances on being pro-life, supporting parts of the Paul Ryan budget that would make dramatic changes to Medicare and Medicaid, and opposing the "Paycheck Fairness Act" which would require employers to prove any pay discrepancies among workers are unrelated to gender, as well as both necessary for the business and tied to job performance. Emily's List's goal is to elect as many pro-choice Democratic women to Congress.
