You know what’s better than an art show? An art show with awesome, affordable and usable pieces.

Enter the Lure Design Pop-Up Shop, housed at Workspace for just three days.

Lure Design, located in Orlando, is run by partners Jeff Matz, Paul Mastriani and Sarah Blacksher Collins. The group’s work runs the gamut from branding to corporate communication design. The original studio opened in 1998, and by 2006, Lure created the L2 Design Collective, which focuses on screen printing.

The printmaking trio’s pop-up shop will feature cards, journals, notebooks, cult class film posters (e.g., AnchormanScarface, The Breakfast Club), gig posters and more.

Lure's Mastriani and Blacksher Collins will do a live printing demo at 8 p.m. on opening night, Friday, March 28.  You can throw back some PBR or Cigar City brews and watch the artists at work.

The show will be open Friday, March 28, from 6 to 10 p.m., Sat., March 29, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday, April 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  Workspace is located at 4501 N. Florida Ave., Tampa.  Check out some of the sweet posters for sale at tampaworkspace.com.
