See Tampa in a striking, fresh way through the eyes of Tampa Bay artist Amy Martz.
Le Meridien Hotel commissioned Martz to create a series of photographs, Tampa Discovery Moments, capturing Tampa’s cityscapes, architectural features and unique history.
The photos will cover Le Meridien’s rooms and lobby. Before they make their way to the hotel, they will go on display at Kahwa Coffee for a few weeks this month. Martz said that her “work explores the details of architecture and history in our urban core.”
Her work was recently featured in The Photography Issue of Creative Loafing and is currently on display at the Oxford Exchange.
The new collection will be revealed at Kawha Coffee at 3928 Henderson Blvd. on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and remain on display until April 30.
