The Ambrosia Vibe allows the strap-on wearer to experience increased pleasure during sex. It converts the friction registered by the dildo into clit-friendly vibrations produced by a bullet vibrator at the base of the device. This is a huge breakthrough in sex toy technology, particularly for the lesbian and trans communities. However, the current design seems a bit bulky, with a set of wires feeding a microprocessor the size of a deck of cards worn on the wearer's hip. Future models will undoubtedly eliminate these wires, creating a more streamlined look.
Orgasmatronics, the Denver based sex toy company behind the Ambrosia, recently launched a crowd-sourcing campaign on indiegogo. The project has already met half of its funding goal.
