33-year-old Bradenton man, Micheal Hearns was charged with burglary Monday night after admitting to sneaking into his neighbor's attic to steal tools and underwear. According to the Manatee County police report, Jennifer Lopez (not the singer) heard odd noises coming from her attic. When Lopez noticed some of her underwear missing and her son spotted Hearn dusting himself off on his balcony, she got the police involved.
Hearn admitted to investigators that he climbed into his neighbor's attic to steal what he could through the ceiling. He said he also fell through his own ceiling when he returned to his apartment. Hearn knew what he did was wrong, but blamed his behavior on a cocktail of diet pills, marijuana, alcohol, and Red Bull.
