Lil Wayne drops another probable Carter V track, "Krazy"

With all of yesterday's soccer hype, it was easy to miss the release of Lil Wayne's latest track "Krazy," which, in all probability, will be part of his upcoming (and maybe last?) LP, Tha Carter V.

Following the downward, fuck-all trajectory of his last two albums, "Krazy" finds Wayne ramble-rapping on for 4-plus minutes without a sliver of the cleverness or fun of classic singles like "A Milli" or, really almost anything released before 2009. The charisma is there, bolstered by the song's roughneck trap beat, but Wayne's bars are so comparatively bland (save a nod to his Uno-playing prison days) they leave a void that's hard not to notice.

Tha Carter V will surely be a springboard back into relevancy for Wayne, but if "Krazy" is any indication, it'll just solidify the notion that his best days, at least as an artist, are far behind him. Listen to it along with recently released new tracks "Believe Me" featuring Drake and "D'Usse" after the jump...
