I know we say this after almost every weekend, but: what a weekend! Seriously, this summer has been so much fun and, with Margarita Wars coming up on July 31st, it doesn’t look like the fun is going to stop anytime soon—and we love that.On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the Street Team was set up at some of the local restaurants and bars participating in the battle to win the title of “Tampa Bay’s Best Margarita,” handing out tasty lime-flavored lollipops and taking submissions to name our festive piñata.
We had our wheel with us, of course, giving folks the chance to choose from the biggest selection of prizes we’ve had in a while: CL beach balls, totes, koozies, stickers and temporary tattoos; Improv tickets; T-shirts; and screening passes for "Lucy" and"The Purge: Anarchy."
Our piñata is still yet to be named—that’s why we’ll be out and about this weekend at three more stops around town! Check back on Thursday for more info on where we’ll be.
