In today's edition of "You Can't Make This Shit Up,"Chance the Rapper and The Social Experiment have teamed up with Wyclef Jean and a whole slew of other artists for a rendition of the theme song for Arthur, arguably the best television show about an anthropomorphic aardvark ever.
As wacky as the news sounds, the track itself — originally done by Ziggy Marley & the Melody Makers— is pretty fantastic, even if pretty left-field for a rising rapper like Chance. Layers on layers of vocals from the likes of Frances & the Lights, Jesse Ware, Wyclef and more harmonize and dissipate before the whole thing crescendos into an uplifting monstrosity of hand-claps, slick synths and gospel-y vibes sure to get you feeling right on this fine Friday.
Give "Wonderful Everyday: Arthur" a listen below. Chance The Rapper will close out Lollapalooza in his hometown Chicago this Sunday night. Watch his set, and a live stream of the whole shebang starting today at lolapalooza.redbull.tv.
