This month flew by. As of 8 a.m. Monday, 3,286 CL junkies participated in this year's Best of the Bay Readers Poll.
There's nearly a week left for readers to submit their final picks (voting ends Sunday), so we thought sharing a portion of the Food & Drink results would add some extra "umph" to the last leg of our fun-spirited competition.
Salt Rock Grill has the most votes for Best Seafood Restaurant, Best Waterfront Dining, Best Outdoor Dining and Best Gulf Beaches Restaurant. However, Oystercatchers and Frenchy's aren't too far behind Salt Rock in the four categories.
Beating out eateries like Red Mesa Cantina and Moon Under Water, Bella Brava ranks the highest for Best Downtown St. Pete Restaurant with 130 votes, as well as best Italian.
The Refinery is ahead in Best Farm-to-Table Restaurant with 113 votes, as Boca falls short with 70. The Best Seminole Heights Restaurant category is headed by The Refinery, too, followed by Ella's and Rooster & the Till.
Best SoHo/Hyde Park Restaurant is a close match between Piquant and Daily Eats. Piquant heads the category by one vote.
With 115 votes, Meze 119 holds the top slot for Best Vegetarian Restaurant, while Holy Hog leads Best Barbecue with 61. Urban Brew and BBQ could pull ahead of Holy Hog with 12 more votes.
