Monday is National Chicken Lovers Day!
To celebrate enthusiasts of the food around the country, Pollo Tropical eateries will serve up free quarter chicken meals to diners who wear yellow and cluck their orders to a cashier between 2 and 7 p.m.
The island-inflected franchise has locations throughout the region, including three in Tampa and one in Pinellas Park.
Rice and beans accompany the meals, and the offer is limited to one meal per diner.
Editor's note: An earlier version of this story, as per a press release, said diners need to dress like a chicken to receive a free meal. However, they only need to flock to the restaurant dressed in yellow.
