The Crowler
by CL StaffDesigned for boozin’ it up by land or sea, crowlers (growler-sized cans) are the latest, and pretty darn neatest, way to enjoy a 32-ounce craft brew outside. Colorado and North Carolina’s Oskar Blues Brewery pioneered the idea, and it didn’t take long for in-state breweries like Due South and our area's own Cigar City Brewing and Cycle Brewing to snag a crowler machine for their facilities. Seamed by breweries on-site, the single-use cans keep craft suds fresh until opened, and unlike growlers, they’re lightweight. These big ol’ beer cans were made for Floridians’ year-round outdoor shenanigans.
