Starting Friday, the program, called Swim with the Fishes, allows swimmers to snorkel with more than 30 indigenous fish — including snook, trout, snapper and an eel — for $25. Participants must be at least 8 years old.
As part of the experience, hosted 10:30 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday, participants will also learn about environmental initiatives and tank management through a behind-the-scenes tour, according to a news release.
Each participant is permitted in the tank, which is located in the St. Pete Beach eatery's main dining room, for 10 minutes. But an hour and a half should be set aside for the program.
Space is limited, and interested swimmers should reserve their snorkels by calling 727-329-1433.
