Age of Zombies
($.0.99)
Created by HalfBrick Studios
19 OCT, 2014
Age of Zombies reaches 1 billion kills as shown on their Global kill counter. Right as they approach the final weekend of Zombie Month, and their great multi-player update (Up to 4 players at the time), which brought a lot of support from the Halfbrick studios fans.

So much in fact, that our favorite developers of games like Fruit Ninja, Jet Pack Joy Ride and Fish out of Water! have launched a contest giveaway
Very appropriate for Halloween, the game invites you to help Barry Steakfries, (the protagonist from Age of Zombies) figure out what's next. The contest features NVIDIA prices, Razer and OUYA. Also free download codes will be posted on Facebook and Twitter. The Challenge is to pitch a new setting/era/location for Age of Zombies. What should we see while Steakfries and his friends go commando? They have already covered a lot of ground: prehistoric levels, 1930s, Ancient Egypt, Feudal Japan, the future, Wild West and Professor Brains’ lab. So If you have a great idea for a level for Age of Zombies. Submit your answer via email: fans@halfbrick.com or Twitter for a chance to win their awesome prices. Competition closes 10 a.m. on Thurs., Oct. 23.

Kickstarter Pick: Basement ($8 Pledge)
Created By HalfBus
Did you ever came across Basement? From the creators of Hit the Mole, comes a fun little drug-dealing strategy game. The indie developers have created a Kickstarter campaign to enhance Basement and launch a drastically improved RTS (real-time strategy) version by the Spring 2015 on Steam. (Windows, OSX and Linux) A pledge of $8 will secure you a copy upon release. The concept evokes AMC's Breaking Bad allure. Produce drugs as fast as you can without a minute to breathe, organize raw materials, assign scientists to build the proper labs; it's time to create specific drugs, (all in a tight budget) While selling it to particular addicted customers. Watch out for DEA, FBI, keep a low profile, other much more dangerous characters will be knocking at your door. Help Halfbus Studios get the support they need to add all sorts of bells and whistles, including a serious plot, cut-scenes, more drugs, more options, wildly improved music by Matt Mclean (AKA feeding | ear) and way better pixel based graphics. Play the Old School version on your browser or watch the original Basement gameplay

Tiny Thief (free)
Created by 5 Ants
Published by Rovio Entertainment's Rovio Stars program
Set in medieval times, although you can find robots and lasers, Tiny Thief follows a kid that steals Robin Hood-style. The game a point-and-click adventure tests how stealthy you can be, meaning that once a guard, pirate, sheriff, baker, or whomever you are stealing from, sees you, the level will restart. The game won IMGA's People's choice award in March, and released an in-app extra episode adventure called Bewitched ($1.99).

The new levels confront the the king's kidnapping by the wicked witch. Unbelievable that this enjoyable game is free; it's an adorable comic-like adventure that uses the element of surprise with a very clever and heartwarming story.
