Not only do music fans love the Austin City L imits Music festival, they love it enough that organizers C3 offered up a second full weekend of musical madness.
Thought not quite as large as Lollapalooza or Bonnaroo, the fest takes place in what has become ground zero for live music, and has increasingly gained in popularity. Following the model set by Coachella in 2012, it now features a second weekend of performances, not exactly a duplicate of the first weekend, but nearly. The notable difference was the addition of New Zealand songstress Lorde.
And while the weather wasn't quite so nice as what the first weekend's guests enjoyed (Saturday's rainstorm prompted the cancellation of the first six bands of the day: Riders Against the Storm, Knifight, Chain Gang of 1974, Wesley, Bray and the Disciples of Joy, The Nightowls, The Levites), it was still an amazing weekend of music for those of us who made it out, the temperatures low enough to give a passable impression of fall.
