Playwright Charles Busch's Halloween-friendly opus Vampire Lesbians of Sodom takes us to a whole other level of dark and demented, campy insanity — and who better than Jobsite Theater to take on the tale of two blood-sucking, female-loving vampires. The story follows a rivalry that begins during Biblical times and rages on to ’80s Vegas. Music Director J. Elijah Cho provides the production’s old-timey cabaret-style tunes. David Jenkins directs the whole she-bang. The impressive cast includes Coco and Homo's Zachary Hines, Jamie Jones, Spencer Meyers, J. Elijah Cho, Summer Bohnenkamp, Maggie Mularz and Katrina Stevenson. Tonight is a super-special discounted preview performance with goody bags for all guests and a photo booth — come in costume! $14 tonight at 8 p.m. Regular run through Nov. 23 is $28 at the Straz Center’s Shimberg Playhouse, 1010 N. MacInnes Place, Tampa; showtimes Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 p.m.; Sundays at 3 p.m. jobsitetheater.org.
