Load up the car with beach blankets and chairs for the annual Taste of Indian Rocks Beach from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday.
Hosted at Chief Chic-A-Si Park, festivalgoers will jam to live tunes by Espree deKor while exploring bites from more than 20 IRB establishments and their neighbors. Guppy's on the Beach, The Pie Factory, Lulu's Oyster Bar & Tap House, IRB Sushi and Slyce Pizza Bar are among the participating eateries.
The free food fest attracted more than 5,000 people last year. Event planners are asking visitors to leave dogs and coolers at home.
Alongside the eats vendors, as well as beer and wine booths, Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue will dish out its Firehouse Chili. The chili sales will benefit area food banks, and the event's proceeds will benefit the community through the Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association.
