Has professional wrestling gotten a little too, "real" for you?
Has the profanity, objectification of women and overall MMA presentation turned you off from the good ole' Hulk Hogan/Randy Macho Man Savage days?
Those days are not gone, but there is still a wrestling league that courts larger-than-life characters in a family setting, that still carries that innocence of professional wrestling in its heyday.
It's an independent wrestling league called Uproar Wrestling and you can catch it at the Verizon Event Center in New Port Richey this Saturday. It's Uproar Wrestling's fourth installment of the year, "No Turning Back."
The event will feature the first ever crowning of an Uproar Wrestling Champion.
Eddie Graves will battle Alex Chamberlain in the main event of the evening. There will also be several undercard matches including a revenge match between the fire-breathing monster Torcher and Sean Davis. Uproar Wrestling in an independent wrestling league with an eclectic combination of local wrestlers and national characters from wrestling leagues across the country, including Ring of Honor and WWE.
