This season marks the 10 year anniversary of Tampa Bay’s first and only Stanley Cup. Be the thunder at the Lightning Fan Fest on Sat., Sept. 14, and help bring the cup back to Tampa!
The Bolts welcome back fans by holding open practice, giving out autographs and more. Lightning players will hit the ice in three separate groups at 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. At 11:30 a.m., the Lightning will be hosting the Battle of the Badges Charity game held between local firefighters and police officers, presented by Bright House Networks. Procure favorite player’s signatures in the concourse at 11:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., and as a thank you, the team store, Tampa Bay Sports, will offer deeply discounted items.
In addition, there will be $2 hot dogs, $1 sodas, $4 beers, $2 Little Caesar pizza slices, $2 coffees and free popcorn. Season ticket holders can take advantage of free parking in the West Lot as well as free hot dogs, popcorn, sodas and water in the Club Level from noon to 2 p.m.
A free hockey clinic, divided into two groups — 8 and younger, and 12 and younger — will follow Fan Fest at 4 p.m. Fans who wish to take part should register here.
