As speculation remain rife that Charlie Crist will announce his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for governor sometime this summer (Politico weighs inwith a report that sheds little light on when that might be), the Republican Party of Florida has been licking their chops, getting in daily shots at their former standard bearer.
Now Crist is being blasted by the Democratic Progressive Caucus of Florida, who issued a press release highlighting their newreport on Friday that compared the records on gun control legislation of the official and unofficial Democratic candidates for governor, on an issue that certainly animates that wing of the party.…
