Savor the sights, sounds and aromas of the Ybor circa 1886 at its anniversary of Ybor’s first hand-rolled cigar. The Ybor Chamber of Commerce will host the celebration with A Tapas Trail from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by an after party from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tapas, hors d’ oeuvres & antipasti at over a dozen of Ybor’s top restaurants will be served as you wander the streets of Ybor.
Participating restaurants include Al's BBQ, Bernini, Carmine’s, Carne Chop House, Columbia, Cristino’s, Elmer’s, Green Iguana, Hamburger Mary’s, Improv, JJ’s Café, New World Brewery, New York New York, Row Boat, Sunday’s Deli, Tequilas, and the Ybor Wine Bar. In between bites be sure to stop by Tabenero Cigars and Tampa Sweethearts Cigar Co. for your complimentary cigar and to see hand rollers at work.
After the Tapas Trail, head to the Italian Club for the after party. Cigar lovers can enjoy an authentic “Ybor Smoker” as well as desserts, various spirits, and a performance by Les Sabler & his Trio. Raffle prizes and a silent auction will also be held.
