Robert Frost said that nothing gold can stay, but memories of a unique experience can last a good while. This couldn't be truer for Eva Avenue, winner of an Awesome St. Pete Grant. She's presenting The Gold Room at downtown St. Pete's Oleson Gallery, one of a series of room installations, plus an art party and photo-op all wrapped up into one cultural experience-as-artwork. The interactive piece reflects our social media-conscious world and idealization of settings. So, visitors are encouraged to bring a camera, phone or other picture-taking device to create memories and an atmosphere of shiny allure.
