Eight St. Petersburg foodie spots will take part in Thursday's 41st annual Sunrise Sale hosted by the Downtown Business Association.

400 Beach Seafood & Tap House, The Birchwood, Cassis Bakery, Kalamazoo Olive Company, Nouvelle Beauty Bar, Paciugo, Sweet Divas Chocolates and Top This Pie (making its debut at the event) are among the more than 45 participating establishments.

Kicking off at 6:43 a.m., businesses downtown, on Beach Drive and along Fourth Street North will offer discounts on their goods until 11. Early risers are able to save up to 75 percent, and more bargains may be acquired if they wear pajamas or beach attire.

The Birchwood will start serving a $5 breakfast special once the event begins. Lasting until 10:43, hungry deal-seekers will chow on eggs, bacon, cereal, seasonal fruit, yogurt, OJ and coffee.

Similarly, a $4 breakfast, with mimosas, Bloody Marys and screwdrivers, will be cooked up by 400 Beach. Gift cards to 400 Beach, Parkshore Grill, The Hangar and The Pub may also be purchased at 400 Beach for 20 percent off.

Every $50 gets a free $10 card, and $200 is the limit per person. The restaurant's gift card deal will run throughout the event.

This year's Sunrise Sale is collecting paper products to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
