From April 2 through May 6, State Theatre hosted an epic run of live music that kicked off with a rare date by recently reunited indie hip-hop super-group Deltron 3030 (featuring Del the Funky Homosapien, Dan the Automator and Kid Koala), then continued with performances by Canadian heavy metal vets Anvil, Swedish synth rock luminaries The Sounds, percussive-washed indie rock darlings Local Natives, and beloved roots/Americana troubadour M. Ward, ending with a blast of confetti-strewn pop psychedelia via Athens, Ga. favorites of Montreal.
